Sachin slams 40th Test hundred India vs Australia 4th Test 6th nov 2008 at Nagpur IndiaSachin Tendulkar hit his 40th Test century on the first day of the fourth Test against Australia at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha in Nagpur on Thursday.Tendulkar reached the milestone when he cut a delivery by Australian Test debutant Jason Krejza delivery to the point boundary for his 12th four and notch his 10th Test century against Australia. The standout shot in Tendulkar's innings was a superb straight drive off Brett Lee that was only a gentle push but didn't give the fielders any chance.Earlier, Krejza dismissed VVS Laxman for 64 to reduce India to 262/4.Laxman made room to cut, the ball bounced a little more, Laxman edged and wicket keeper Brad Haddin fiddled but latched on to the ball. Laxman, hit his 37th Test fifty in his 100th Test and his knock of 64 came up with the help of five fours and he added 146 runs for the fourth wicket with Tendulkar....
